About Us

EFFORT (Eco-Foundation for Research and Training) was started on 14-11-1996 and registered with the group of like -minded Seven Members were formed into an Civil Society, to provide the Services to Rural and Urban poor. The Organization will works any where in India. But , now working at some Mandals in Khammam, Mahabubabad & Warangal Districts. By taking Various Development Activities like Community Organization, Health Programme, Natural Resource Management, Women Development, Self Help Groups strengthening, Water & Sanitation, Youth Development Programmes, Environmental Awareness Programmes, Human Rights, Women & Child Development Programme, Eradication of Child Labour and Income generation Programmes.

We, got the support from Local Government Departments, Central & State Governments and other Donors like District Rural Development Agency Ministry of Environment and Forest, New Delhi, HEKS Office India, ITC-Social Forestry Programme, etc.

Objectives

1. To empower Tribal, Dalits, Agriculture laborers, Small and Marginal Farmers and fisher folk Communities, Minorities through united action in participatory approach.
2. To initiate livelihood support through Land Mobilization, Land Development, Sustainable Agriculture to address food security, child labor issues and promotion of youth groups etc.
3. To organize and established, consolidated, maintaining, support to develop and to propagate, encourage, cultural development and uplifting activities. And also to extend financial support for the benefits of the people in irrespective of race, Community, Religion, Castes or creed with particular emphasis on Development.
4. To provide medical relief to the poor. For the purpose to start, establish conduct maintain, manage and help Dispensaries, Hospitals, Medical Centers, Diagnostic Centers and Health Camps.
5. To conduct training Camps, Campaigns, Rallies to demonstrate Educational Programmes by publishing of material in Media to bring awareness in the Society about Pollution and Environmental Problems.
6. To provide counselling, Life skill education and Vocational skills to these pre-identified young women at risk to enable them either to seek wage employment or self employment.
7. Strengthening of orphans, vulnerable children and women support services through linkages with local partners, for addressing health, education, nutrition, and general welfare programs.
8. To organize & capacityze PRI members towards Sampoorna - Grama -Swaraj by adopting and practicing transparency & democratic values in governance
